"Paris is Burning" is the second episode of the fifth season of Scandal, and is the seventy second overall.

Plot

Olivia and Fitz face some very big consequences and Mellie brings in an old friend to make sure she gets her way. Meanwhile, Abby shows Olivia she is fully capable of handling working at the White House.

Scandals

Olivia Pope & Associates:

• Huck, Quinn and Jake are being driven crazy by the press after Olivia’s stint.

White House:

• Mellie and Fitz’s interview with Noah Baker is interrupted after Oliva’s stint with the press.
• Cyrus returns to aide Mellie in negoations with Fitz & Olivia; he refuses to negotiate with Liz.
• Abby is furious with Liv for lying to her about the affair.

Rowan & B613:

• Jakes visits Rowan in prison after The Louvre is set on fire.
