Bellamy Young - born February 19, 1970 in Asheville, North Carolina - is an American actress who portrays First Lady Mellie Grant in ABC's Scandal.
Education
She graduated from the Asheville School in 1987, Yale University in 1991, and the British American Drama Academy at Oxford University in England.
Career Background
In New York she starred on Broadway as Mary in Cy Coleman's The Life and also as Meg in the revival Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along. Other notable theatre credits include Margaret in the world premiere of Randy Newman's Faust and LouAnn in the world premiere of Landford Wilson's Book of Days.
